It is Sunday, time to review my week of making with Julia Child’s The French Chef Cookbook.

This week I made Oeuf Mollet, Molded Egg, liked this so much I have been having this for breakfast all week, Poulet en Cocotte, Whole Chicken Roasted in a Casserole, this was one of the best chicken I have ever had,Risotto, Rice Braised in Chicken Stock, a great accompaniment to the chicken, Crêpes Fines Sucrées, sweet crepes, a great breakfast and love having a pile in the freezer to pull from, Steak au Poivre, steak sautéed with crushed peppercorns, a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner and Julia’s famous Mayonnaise.

I had a fun week celebrating the 50th anniversary of the television debut of The French Chef.Learned a lot, made some great food and got to use butter almost everyday. Off to get ready for another week of making.
